Update

Schedule SmartUpdate can help the software to update to the latest version in time, then detect and kill all kinds of viruses to prevent the attack of viruses.

Before updating, the software shall be set correctly, for details please see Connection.

There are three methods for smart update of Rising Antivirus Software: update through software update button, real-time update and regular update.

update through software update button

Operation Methods:

  • Click button [ update] in the main program interface of Rising Antivirus Software to accomplish update.
  • Right click the little umbrella at the lower right corner of the computer, and select [Software update] to accomplish update.

Real-time update

If the user set the update frequency to [Automatic] in the update setting, the software shall be automatically updated to the latest version under the condition that the computer is online.

Regular update

If the user set the update frequency to [Every day], [Every week], [Every month], the software shall regularly update as per the settings.

Rising Antivirus Software supports manual update

If the computer set up with Rising Antivirus Software can not be linked to the internet, and the update can be accomplished through visiting Rising website and manually downloading [Setup/update Program] at the computer which can be linked to the internet.

Rising website shall regularly provides [Setup/update Program] file, which helps convenient and fast updating Rising Antivirus Software in the case of realizing of long span version update (e.g. update version before 2010 (including 2010) to 2011), setup failure due to old setup program or reset Rising Antivirus Software after resetting operating system.

update method: visit the column [Product update] at the left side of Rising website, input product serial number and user ID and enter into personal product update service page. Click the download button in the [Setup/update Program] file to start download, and copy the downloaded file to the computer which has set up with Rising Antivirus Software and directly run, operate following the directions to accomplish the update.
