Custom Scan

Custom scan will scan the scope appointed by you. Users who have certain computer security knowledge can define scan target and clean viruses.

Operation Methods:

1. Start Rising Antivirus Software main program interface, and click [Anti-Virus] tab page.

2. Click [Custom scan] icon button, and select a target to scan; click [Pause scanning] button at any time during scanning process to pause virus detection and killing; click [Continue scanning] button to continue or [Stop scan] button to stop. During the virus detection and killing process, the quantity of scanned target (document), average scanning speed and scanning progress will be displayed below; if virus or suspicious file is found, relevant information including file name, virus name, treatment result and path will be shown in [Virus] or [Suspicious ] page. Icon in front of each file name represents virus type. For details of virus type, please refer to virus type recognition.

3. After the virus detection and killing, the scanning result will be automatically stored in the log of antivirus software. Former virus detection and killing record may be acquired through [View Log] function.

4. If you want to go on checking other documents, directories or disks for virus killing, please click [Return] button and repeat the second step.
