Custom Scan

Custom Scan, executes virus scanning on selected targets which customized by computer users who have certain knowledge on computer security defense.

Operational Approach:

1, Launch Rising Internet Security 2011 program main interface and, click tag of [Antivirus].

2, Click button of [Custom Scan] to execute virus scanning on selected targets. During virus scanning process, computer users can click button of [Pause scanning] to temporarily stop virus scanning process and, click button of [Continue scanning] to proceed, or click button of [Stop scan] to end virus scanning process. While Quick Scan being executed, numbers of scanned targets (files), average scan speed, and scan progress shall be displayed on Quick Scan window; meanwhile, if there were virus or suspicious files, concerned information shall be displayed on page of [Virus] and [Suspicious Files] with File Name, Virus Name, Result and path. Also, Rising Internet Security 2011 shall mark each virus program/file with specific icon to indicate computer virus type.

3, After virus scan complete, the result shall be automatically save to Rising Internet Security 2011 logs record; so computer users can check anti-virus record with option of [Logs Review].

4, If computer users want Custom Scan on other files, directories, or hard disk, please click button of [Back] and, select targets for virus scanning, then take action stated in Approach No.2.
