Making Rising Linux Boot Disk
Preparing Work:
1, Download Linux NTLDR packet before launch Making Rising Linux Boot Disk. And then, launch Rising Internet Security 2011 program main interface and, click tag of [Tools], and then click button of [Making Rising Linux Boot Disk], then computer users shall get prompt and hyperlink for downloading Linux NTLDR packet, so please click hyperlink of [Download Linux NTLDR packet from Rising Website] to accomplish download.
2, Uncompress Linux NTLDR packet; select compressed packet you have downloaded, and select option of [Extract Here] on context menu; then computer users can see all files extracted in Linux folder after uncompress.
3, Disable Self-Protection option of Rising Internet Security 2011; please launch Rising Internet Security 2011 program main interface and, click [Settings] -> [Advanced Settings] -> [Software Secure], and then unselect [Enable Self-Protection] to proceed, then click button of [OK] to save changes. If Rising Password is disabled, changes must be saved with correct Captcha; if Rising Password is enabled, changes must be saved with correct password.
4, Copy Linux folder to Rising install directory (for example: C:\Program Files\rising\Ris). After copy complete, please enable Rising Self-Protection to protect computer security.
Execution Approach:
1, Click button of [Start] to launch Windows Start Menu and, go [All Programs] -> [Rising Internet Security] -> [Tools] -> [Making Rising Linux Boot Disk], then select USB Disk, and then click button [Start] to proceed.
2, Launch Rising Internet Security 2011 program main interface and, click tag of [Tools], then click button of [Making Rising Linux Boot Disk] to launch creator wizard.
Functions Details:
Within Making Rising Linux Boot Disk, computer users can create Linux boot disk with Rising Antivirus software to start computer as well as execute virus scanning.
1, Format USB Disk (FAT16) and rewrite USB Disk master boot record and DPT for Linux NTLDR. (This process shall delete all data saved on USB Disk, please computer users backup data at first.)
2, Copy Linux NTLDR core files and the latest Rising virus database to USB Disk.
3, Well created Linux Boot Disk can directly start computer with Linux Mode, and execute virus scanning. (Please ensure computer motherboard support startup at USB-ZIP.)
4, USB Disk with storage over 1 GB may not work well with Linux NTLDR. (Limitation on ZIP compatibility mode)
